Info on Tandem Instructional Flights:

To fly tandem in a paraglider, it is necessary for you to become a student pilot under the USHPA program. To do so, you'll need to become familiar with the launching, flying and landing basics of a paraglider.

Purchasing our "Flight Preparation Packet" ($200 per person) will facilitate the USHPA program training requirements and qualify you for a pre-flight briefing and flight. Plus, it provides a list of items you should bring for the tandem instructional flight.

During the day of the scheduled flight, you will fill out some forms and be given the pre-flight briefing to hammer home the basics. Upon completing the briefing, the tandem instructional flight will be given. 

Flying Site & Meeting Location:

Over all other Bay Area flying sites, "Ed Levin County Park" provides the most flexible weather conditions for flying paragliders (0-15 mph, ESE-WNW launch directions, < 5 mph gust differentials within 5 seconds):
